Descripción ampliada The island of Tabarca is the only inhabited island of the Valencian Community and is opposite the city of Alicante, eleven nautical miles and near the Cape of Santa Pola. Actually more than an island, it is a small archipelago, also composed of the islets La Cantera, La Galera and Nao. It has an approximate length of 1,800 meters and a maximum width of about 400 meters.

Pick up at the point of departure and arrival at the Port of Santa Pola. There we embark on the Catamaran to make a journey of about 20 minutes and enjoy the beauty of the Alicantina coast and the arrival to the Island of Tabarca. Shortly before arriving, we stopped to make an underwater view from the bottom of the Catamaran and enjoy the marine variety of the island declared Marine Reserve in 1983. We will go into the Citadel to take a guided tour of about 30 minutes and explain the history, customs and Legends of this magnificent island founded by Carlos III in the SXVIII. Time of food and enjoy the rice and seafood typical of the island. -In the afternoon we can extend the visit to the island and make a beautiful hiking route through one of the islets of the island (El Campo). Or return to the Port with the Catamaran and visit the Palm Grove of Elche. Declared World Heritage. We will visit one of the 3 most famous palm groves in the city, the Palmeral Municipal. There we can observe the diversity of Palms. We will know its history and traditions around the Palm tree. Return to our point of departure.
