Descripción ampliada The main city in the island of Ibiza goes by the same name, as it is the capital and largest city, with its nightlife and it’s legendary status. But there are deeper roots underneath this city, and they all grow outwards of Dalt Vila, the walled old town of Ibiza.

You'll discover why it is one of the 15 Spanish cities declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site. See the 1585’ Portal de ses Taules, between the bastions of Sant Joan and Santa Llúcia. It is part of the UNESCO World Heritage Site. The headless Roman statues are evidence of the roman occupation. Have a look at the church of the convent of San Vicente y San Jaime, first built in the 16th century as a convent church, and was only open to the general public in 1929.

The several chapels inside show a glimpse on how life was in old Ibiza. The façade is a great example of the mixture of moorish and christian architectures that influenced the entire island. Discover the bastions and the many other Dalt Vila historical landmarks, along with the small boutiques, fashion stores, art ateliers, to give you the deeper and more historical side of the beautiful mediterranean wonder of Ibiza.
