Built between 1875 and 1914, the Basilica of the Sacré-Cœur is located at the summit of the hill of Montmartre, the "Mount of Martyrs"
Consecrated in 1919 to the catholic worship, the Sacré-Coeur is a unique place in the world of perpetual adoration and prayer for christians.

After climbing 270 steps to reach the top of the hill, enjoy the wonderful panoramic view of the City of Light and its famous monuments such as the Montparnasse Tower, Notre-Dame Cathedral or even the Louvre Museum.

You will pursue your visit to the impressive basilica by admiring its architecture as you hear about its history from your audioguide. Inside, observe the largest mosaic in the world, Christ in Majesty, depicting the Sacred Heart of Jesus, worshiped by the Virgin Mary, Jeanne d'Arc and Saint Michael the Archangel.

To end your visit on a high note, we invite you to stroll around the charming Montmartre and lose yourself in the picturesque streets to discover emblematic places of the village such as the lovely Place du Tertre or the famous Lapin Agile cabaret.
